Position Title: Retail Buyer
Salary: $56,000.00 - $82,800.00 per year. Wage depends on qualifications.
Benefits package available : sick pay, as well as a wide range of voluntary benefits
Relocation Necessary: No Relocation required
The position will fulfill rules and practices to provide the most low-priced movement of merchandise through the supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency to parse data and market facilities for the present and future lead-time, and capacity of products and facilities.
Duties of the Role:
- Identify and recommend new products or business opportunities
- Developing a long-term strategy to improve the supplier base for the assigned commodities and services
- Ensure effective vendor research and supplier management techniques are used with best performance
- Establish and implement best purchasing practices. Collaborate closely with forecasting and budgeting to handle inventory costs
- Supervise new goods and product stock
- Focusing on supply processes to support customer
- Operate very promptly with other employees to provide information regarding the competition, potential entrants, pricing initiatives and service issues
Experience & Skills:
- Ability to show up, work out with a wide range of technical and none-technical errors
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to work with all levels of management, communicate effectively
- Advanced Microsoft Office Tools Excel, Word and Outlook proficiency for prompt reporting
- Ability to move up to 15 pounds and accidentally lift or move up to 37 pounds
- Valid driver�s license is essential
- over 21; U.S. Person
- No relocation is necessary
